Quinton House is a stylish meeting and training venue on the Nieuwegracht in Utrecht. With several high-quality rooms, personal service and a warm atmosphere, we create a welcoming environment every day.

About the role
To expand our team, we are looking for a Head of Hospitality who thrives on great service, loves to get things done and is a true team player. You will work according to an annual hours schedule built around 44 working weeks, outside of school holidays, in line with the seasonal rhythm of our venue.

What will you be doing?
As Head of Hospitality, you are the face of Quinton House. You ensure guests feel welcome from the moment they arrive and that everything at the venue runs smoothly. Your responsibilities include:

Actively taking part in all daily operations, such as welcoming guests, setting up lunch and refreshments, preparing rooms for the next day, and more.

Acting as the first point of contact for our guests and providing a warm, professional welcome.

Assisting guests in a friendly and efficient manner and anticipating their needs.

Handling various administrative tasks, including placing and checking orders.

Guiding and supporting part-time and flex staff on the floor.

Actively contributing ideas for improvement, acting quickly and coming up with solutions when situations call for them.

Working in rotating shifts between 08:00 and 18:00, with occasional evening shifts.

At least 3 years of experience in a hospitality environment

About the role
As a Host/Service Staff member, you are at the heart of our service during meetings, lunches, and drinks receptions. You make sure everything runs smoothly, from the first coffee to the last drink, and that guests feel seen and well taken care of.

What you'll be doing

Welcoming guests and serving coffee, tea, and drinks

Preparing and serving lunches and grazing boards

Setting up rooms and keeping them tidy throughout the day

Working together with colleagues on the floor and in the kitchen
