What does leadership demand in a time when complexity, change, and uncertainty are increasing? How do you provide direction when old certainties are disappearing and people, generations, and interests seem to be diverging ever further?

The Art of Leadership is an in-depth program for experienced leaders who want to create space for reflection, perspective, and recalibration in order to provide even better direction, make sharper choices, and bring others along.

Not traditional leadership training, but time in your schedule for inspiring days where psychology, science, and art offer new perspectives and support your authenticity as a leader.

The series

Series 1 consists of three meetings: Friday, January 29, Friday, March 5, and Friday, April 9, 2026. Doors open at 09:00, program from 10:00 to 16:00 with drinks at the end. Location: Quinton House Utrecht. Participation in all three days is included in one ticket. The group is small; a maximum of 10 participants.

Art as a mirror for leadership

• Art helps us to look differently. At ourselves, at others, and at the systems in which we work.

• We use art as a tool to broaden perspective and further develop leadership style.

• We draw inspiration from the impact of contemporary artists and artworks that reveal different styles of leadership and human values in a different way.

  
  

Working with psychological value systems

• The substantive basis of the program is formed by Graves' psychological value systems.

• This theory provides insight into human motivations, leadership styles, collaboration, culture, and strategy in a way that is timeless and offers guidance even in rapidly changing times.

• We use psychological value systems for awareness and the development of personal leadership, team dynamics, and strategic choices.

  
  

Three levels of leadership

Three days of in-depth study, reflection, dialogue with peers, inspiration, and new perspective

• Personal leadership: Leadership begins with awareness and motivation. Themes such as providing direction under pressure, authenticity, and your personal compass take center stage.

• Team Leadership: We explore how different value systems influence collaboration. Focusing on psychological safety, diversity, and creating movement within teams.

• Strategic leadership: How to create a sharp and clear direction and real impact. We also connect strategic choices and impact with leadership styles and culture for an appropriate approach to complexity.
